This is an extraordinarily rare, authentic original two-sided (printed BEFORE the concert) handbill / flyer / brochure / ticket order form advertising:
The NEWPORT FOLK FESTIVAL 1963 - The famous folk festival included Bob Dylan famous first-ever Newport Folk Festival appearance (he also performed at the 1964 and then 1965 festivals). He had made his solo acoustic debut at this world famous festival this year.  I also have listed similar handbill / flyer/ brochure / ticket order forms separately for both his 1964 and 1965 Newport Folk Festival appearances, all extremely rare!
Headliners at this festival were:
BOB DYLAN, JOAN BAEZ, Maybelle Carter, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Bill Monroe & The Bluegrass Boys,
Peter, Paul & Mary, Doc Watson, Dave Van Ronk, Clarence Ashley, Theodore Bikel, Judy Collins, John Lee Hooker, Ramblin' Jack Elliot,
Mississippi John Hurt, Pete Seeger, Ian & Sylvia, and many more (see photos for other artists that were scheduled to appear.)
The festival took place July 26-28, 1963 at Freebody Park in Newport, Rhode Island.
This is an extraordinarily rare item!
It is a two-sided 14 3/8" x 8 1/2 inch sheet that was folded in quarters vertically to be a quad-folded brochure and ticket order form that was mailed to their mailing list (this one is unmailed).  It is in spectacular NM condition,  very clean and bright with no writing, stains, holes or other significant damage or wear.
The ticket order form has
NOT
been filled in and is completely intact.  This is one of only two 1963 handbills for this festival that I have ever seen!

first scan shows the inside two-panel spread that lists the basic schedule by day that you see when you open it.  The third and fourth scan show both full sides of the item opened up fully, including the ticket order form.
