factory docking (the top cradle) is the same as shown on the second gallery picture.
This is used GPS navigation unit fully tested.  Garmin OEM Suzuki portable navigation device is integrated into the dashboard beneath a flip-up panel. OEM Suzuki SX4 GPS Navigation System comes with
the latest
maps and firmware updates. Includes all North America (2021) maps.The software and maps are kept up to date by connecting to the Garmin site. 3D map view.  Speed Limit Indicator Displays Speed Limits For Highways & Interstates. Build in back up battery is usable and hold some charge.   The system is fully-integrated into the vehicle, which provides power to the unit as well as high quality turn-by-turn voice prompting through the vehicle’s sound system. Drivers can easily detach the unit for safekeeping or pedestrian excursions. The GPS is easy to use, it hides away in the dash when not in use, and can even be taken out of the car.
Fits: 2008 and 2009 Suzuki SX4 and Grand Vitara, will not fit 2010, 2011, 2012 or later models.  This units is not affected by Suzuki Recall!  Please make sure that your Suzuki
factory docking (the top cradle) is the same as shown on the last gallery picture.
The device have been integrated into the center console model Grand Vitara, SX4 and the Equator on some models. If your Suzuki is
not
equipped with factory docking (the top cradle) you will need to retrofit it with the factory flip up cradle and cabling. The OEM system consists of Suzuki Garmin Nuvi portable navigation device that integrated with the Suzuki's stereo via a specialized cradle.

The navigation system also features Bluetooth hands-free, which we were able to pair with our test phone rather easily with a PIN. An SD-card slot on the device's side allows the playback of MP3s and Audible.com audiobooks, and JPEG photo slide shows. The Navigation has a built in FM transmitter that transmits directions to your radio.
The OEM system is a portable (
removable
) Garmin unit the two companies co-developed; it stored in a custom enclosure atop the cars’ dashboards.The SX4 navigation system’s flip-up 4.3-inch touch screen display is fully integrated into the vehicle’s audio system, which results in all navigation commands being channeled through the SX4’s audio system. The system also includes an MP3 player, Navteq mapping software and preloaded street maps that feature millions of points-of-interest, such as hotels, restaurants, gasoline stations, ATMs dealership locations throughout the country.
The Garmin Nuvi  also comes with preloaded city navigation map that boasts of its details. The device incorporates a highly sensitive GPS antenna, which is thinner and easy to mount in a car. With over 6 million points of interest preloaded in it, the navigation homes road maps for the whole of United States , Canada, Puerto Rico and South America. The gadget is also equipped with several accessory features such as a calculator, a world clock, a unit converter, a currency converter and so on. You can even set a security code to it in order to ensure that your GPS is never stolen.

Using the navigations Map Screen
Figure shows the map screen, as displayed when navigating to a destination:
Text Bar
- This text bar displays the current navigation instruction. Tapping on this bar opens the turn list (a list of all up-coming turns)
Zoom Out
- Zoom out the map display
Speed Limit
- When available, navigation displays the speed limit for the current road you are driving on
Vehicle icon
- This customizable icon represents your vehicle on the map. Tapping on the vehicle icons allows you to save your current location (even if there's not a valid street address at your location)
Arrival Time
- Displays your estimated arrival time. When not en route to a destination, your current speed is displayed here. Tapping this icon opens the Trip Information page
Menu
- Tap the Menu icon to return to the Menu page
Turn In
- Displays the distance to the next turn. Tapping this icon displays the Next Turn page (a detailed view of the upcoming turn) and repeats the last voice instruction
Highlighted Route
- The highlighted route is "painted", or marked, in magenta color
Zoom In
- Zooms in on the map display
Fits: 2008 and 2009 Suzuki SX4 and Grand Vitara, will not fit 2010 or later models.  This units is not affected by Suzuki Recall!
The battery may not last as long as factory standards.
