A jailbroken APIM allows 3rd party applications to be installed. These do not come with any 3rd party applications installed, however I will provide download links and instructions on how to install 3rd party applications via a USB drive. All I do is jailbreak these so they are ready to have 3rd party apps installed. Some 3rd party apps are a video player, custom backgrounds, enhanced top bar, etc. Please note never use a video player while driving.

This APIM will update most factory 2016-2020 Ford or Lincoln equipped with Sync 3 *from the factory* to the navigation version along with the latest software (3.4) and maps (NA19/2021).I will program it for FREE for any factory sync 3 vehicle. It can replace your broken sync 3 APIM or upgrade your non-nav sync 3 APIM. If your car did not come equipped with Sync 3 factory (4" radio or sync 2) I can program it for your vehicle but there is an extra charge. Please message me if your vehicle is equipped with a 4" radio or sync 2 to discuss options.
APIM comes from a wrecked car. It is updated to 3.4 and includes the latest 2021 Ford Maps. North America only. I can get other region maps but there is an extra charge. Please message if you are outside of North America.
90 day warranty on the jailbroken APIMs. This does not include the sync 3 screen, screen to APIM connector, or screws. There is no warranty on any labor charges incurred for installing and/or removing this APIM.
All APIMs are first or second generation (G, H, or KL series). Manufacture date may be 2015, 2016, or 2017. Picture is for reference. APIM may have a different part number or look slightly different. However they all function the same.
These are all firmware updated to 2021 firmware so they work with all years.
