Fast Axis Correction (or Collimator) lens for 10-12mm wide laser diode emitter assemblies.
Model FAC 850 (0.85mm FL), 14mm length gives you lots of room for gluing to a 1cm wide diode.
Limo makes these in 3 different AR coatings for various wavelengths
600-700nm, 790-990nm, and 1000-1600nm. I have 3 types for sale, I don't know which is for specific wavelengths as it is not marked on the boxes. The AR coatings are blue, green, and gold-green in color.
From my experience the blue is usually for red-and near I.R., the green 800-1000nm and gold would be higher into the I.R. but hard to know for sure without testing.
Limo does not list the model 850 in it's store so these must have been custom ordered by Coherent.
All these units are 1.47mm thick. The closest Limo has in it's store are the models 590 and 910 these have focal lengths of .59mm (0.8mm thick) and .91mm (1.5mm thick). The BFL's (Back Focal Length) is 0.15 and 0.09 respectively. I would assume these units which are closer to the 910's, would have a back focal length of about 0.1mm. This is how far you want it from the emitter face.
You will need a couple tiny blocks of glass or metal to glue these to to manipulate. I would recommend Norland # 60 UV adhesive.
