The A83B switch
can be added to most
early (1930-50s) Shure microphones since they rarely came with an on off switch.    Refer to instructions.

original box and instruction sheet. These can be hard to find.
Not sure
if this is a NOS or used item.   Looks in great condition.   But is it complete?   You may know more about this item than I do.  May have been briefly used as it shows very minor signs of wear, but not sure.
Circuit was tested
out with an ohm meter and operates as it should.
