Description
This is a surcharge for
programming
Sync 3 APIM modules for the 4" to 8" conversion. Programming for these conversions is labor intensive and programming for your vehicle is built from the ground up. Only add this surcharge to your order when purchasing a Sync 3 APIM or Sync 3 Screen/APIM bundle from SimplyMichigan. Any purchases without a qualifying purchase will be refunded.
With this purchase you will also receive by e-mail programming files for your ACM/Receiver and/or your FCIM module, we will pre-program your APIM for you before shipping. You will need to install these using a OBD2/USB cord and a program called FORScan. You will receive instructions in the e-mail on how to use this software.
Additional programming to your Central Configuration (CC) will be required if you have an Escape or Focus, we can't e-mail you a program file for this, so you will need to do this manually. We will e-mail you a PDF with instructions on what to do.
We
unfortunately do not keep "kits" for this conversion at this time.
However, we can help you get most of the things that you might need to do this conversion. Things that you probably will need: Screen and APIM (we supply), Programming (this listing ), Screen Brackets (we may have in stock), USB Hub, GPS Antenna, Screen Radio Bezel and 4" to 8" conversion harness (can be found here on eBay for around 0)
