Offering a vintage
1950's ELECTRO VOICE "MERCURY 611" DYNAMIC MICROPHONE
. (SN B5182) These mics were marketed for general P.A. use and were very popular even through the 60's for their rugged reliability.
The chromed finish is in excellent shape with just very minor signs of use, and has been thoroughly cleaned. It's original pickup element was dead, so we have installed
a new and improved dynamic element
that produces a richer fidelity with strong output. The on-off switch functions normally, the pivot joint hold the mic's tilt angles firmly, and the mic stand threads are clean and undamaged. This mic requires a Switchcraft screw-on type connector...we can provide that connector or a short cable for a reasonable fee.
