Vintage 1950's Turner U9S dynamic microphone Multi Z WORKS w cable old

You are looking at a gorgeous Turner U9S model dynamic microphone from the 1950's. This was the more expensive of the "9" series offered by Turner at the time as it came with the adjustable impedance switch so that you could enjoy High, Med or Low impedance depending on your particular needs. The mic has been tested and the original dynamic element is working like new.
This U9S comes with the cable in which to operate the mic.
Pic # 2 shows this very model in an old Turner Catalog I have. It shows the basic specs and price of the U9S. The mic has what I would describe a s a classic "rockabilly" tone. Higher pitched with almost no bass at all. It's omni-directional as well.
The 9 series had a very old industrial look to it with the lower yoke that allowed this mic to pivot up and down to get just the right angle desired by the broadcaster or singer. This style was quite modern and popular from the 1930's but faded out by the 1950's. The U9S was a little late in the game but was very well designed and some (like this one) still work very well today.
The 9 series all came in the typical Turner umber grey paint scheme and all metal construction. As seen in the pictures provided this one has extremely lite wear in the form of tiny paint chips and scratches and scuff marks but this is in far above average condition. I would rate it a conservative 8 on a scale of 1 - 10. It's actually the nicest U9S I've ever seen. These are usually very beat up. The chrome mesh screen looks fantastic and free of any corrosion or dents. Black inner cloth screen / pop filter is perfect. The chrome thumb screws look very nice too.
You'll notice on the rear of the mic there is a riveted legend badge that indicates what color by the screw will give you what sound. High, Med and Low.
The U9S is quite large being appx 5 1/2 inches tall X 3 1/4 inches across X 3 1/4 inches deep. Quite heavy as well.
The 11 foot cable is included and it's in excellent condition. Soft, pliable and free of damage. It's a newer model with vintage connectors. I soldered this myself so I know it will last for decades. The male 1/4 inch connector is standard and will work with most audio equipment.
The U9S with it's classic industrial design is quite stunning and will look amazing anywhere it sits in the home, office or studio. An instant conversation piece.
