Up for consideration is a very nice pair pair of AKG C451EB-COMB Cardioid condenser mics in very good condition. These mics comes with AKG CK1 cardioid capsules, and are part of the original AKG CMS modular mic system that has many options for different capsules, pads, elbows and other accessories, allowing you to expand to additional capsule polar patterns to use with the same C451EB amplifier module. These mics are in very good condition, and work perfectly, and sound great on acoustic instruments -- especially acoustic guitar and drums, where they have a classic, iconic, instantly recognizable sound from countless classic records. These mics can be also be very useful on many other sources, including percussion, vocals or acoustic instruments, and have a 2-position bass-rolloff switch. Comes in an aftermarket case. These are closely matched body serial #s, so here is a good opportunity to get a vintage C451 body pair from the same production run. These sound fantastic and work perfectly.
